Some challenging facts...

I have been reading a lot lately. Mostly about the life form, who am I ?  what is the purpose of my life ? Why things are the way they are ? Why is it that people don't get satisfied with what they have. What is it that everyone is running after and by everyone I also include myself.

I came across some very challenging facts which are undeniable. I read them and then I read them again and then I thought about them profoundly. It all makes sense to me. In the course of time, I will keep writing them in my blog posts. I hope this might also enlighten you guys in some way or the other. These are entirely my opinions and I have no intention to impose these on anyone else. So read and enjoy...

  • Wherever there is influence of eternal time, there is this set of tribulations, namely birth, disease, old age and death, and all of them are invincible.
  • There is no powerful living being within the universe who can overcome the influence of time.
  • This life is a chance for the conditioned soul to regain his eternal God consciousness and thus fulfill the mission of life.
  • Cheating practice is there in the conditioned souls because the conditioned souls are primarily in the material world imbued with an unnatural desire to lord it over the material world.
  • Fearfulness is a sort of illusion for the living being when he is in slumber and forgetting his eternal relation with the Lord.
  • No one should be puffed up for his powers which are borrowed from the Lord. The sane man should rather feel obliged to the Lord for each benefactions and must utilize such power for the service of the Lord. Such powers can never stay forever and are temporary.
  • The four basic principles of irreligiosity, such as pride, prostitution, intoxication and falsehood, counteract the four principles of religion, namely austerity, cleanliness, mercy and truthfulness.
  • Everyone is a dying person, either very shortly or after one hundred or so years. The duration of life is immaterial, but the duty of a dying person is very important.
  • The mind is the pivot of the active sense organs, and as such if the quality of thinking, feeling and willing is changed, naturally the quality of actions by the instrumental senses will also change.
